I've got a quick question.. I'm trying to help a bud of mine at work make a backup copy of his Sims2 so that he and his wife can play at the same time if they want (they have two computers in their home) and he has told me that there is a pirate lock on it that keeps them from burning and using a backup disk.. Do any of you know of how to back Sims 2 up on a burnable to be able to use it?

You might be able to make an iso file of the disk and host it on the other system through DAEMON tools instead of burning it on a disk.

Yeah I thought about that. Or finding a no disk crack for it.. The only thing I don't like about that kind of thing is if the original disk gets scratched, then bye bye game if something goes wrong.. I love making backups of all my stuff to make sure you can put the original up and away and not use it to worry about scratching it.

I pretty much have taken a computer and put as much disk space in it as much as I can afford, and just rip every program/CD/whatever down to isos and serve them off that system using the DAMONWare tools to mimic a real drive.

Hell of a lot easier than trying to find the disks or worry about it getting scratched
